Gangtok

Nestled among the clouds, Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim, is a mesmerizing blend of natural beauty and cultural richness, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges and a deep dive into the region’s vibrant traditions.

Lachen

Perched at a high altitude, Lachen is a serene mountain village in North Sikkim, known for its untouched beauty, the picturesque landscape, and the gateway to the sacred Gurudongmar Lake.

Lachung

Famed for its apples, peaches, and apricots, Lachung is a charming village where serene monasteries, sparkling streams, and verdant mountains create a mesmerizing tableau of nature at its best.

Gurudongmar

Located at an altitude of 17,800 feet, Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world. It’s a place of spiritual significance and extraordinary natural beauty, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and crystal clear blue waters.

Itinerary & Details

Day 1: Arrival at Gangtok

Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station, our representatives will welcome you and escort you to your hotel in Gangtok. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize to the altitude, explore local markets, and try out Sikkimese cuisine.

Day 2: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

The second day will be dedicated to exploring Gangtok. Visit the famous Rumtek Monastery, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, and Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms. Also, take a ride in the Gangtok Ropeway to get an aerial view of the city.

Day 3: Transfer to Lachen

After breakfast, embark on your journey to the enchanting village of Lachen. En route, visit the Seven Sisters Waterfall and the Singhik viewpoint. Overnight stay in Lachen.

Enjoy a day trip to Nathula Pass, situated at 14,140 feet above sea level, connecting Sikkim with China’s Tibet Autonomous Region. This journey will be filled with panoramic views of the snow-covered Himalayan peaks. Do note that the visit is subject to permit and weather conditions.

Day 4: Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake and Transfer to Lachung

Early morning, drive to the pristine Gurudongmar Lake, one of the highest situated lakes in the world. After the visit, drive to Lachung. Enjoy an overnight stay in Lachung.

Day 5: Excursion to Yumthang Valley and Transfer to Gangtok

Visit the ‘Valley of Flowers’, Yumthang Valley. On your way back, visit the hot spring. Post lunch, depart for Gangtok and rest for the night.

Day 6: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

Embark on a trip to the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake and the sacred Baba Mandir with exciting Nathula Pass. Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Departure

Bid goodbye to the beautiful landscapes of North East India. You’ll be transferred to Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station for your onward journey.
