1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of ghoomantu.com and any journey, service, or inquiry you make through Ghoomantu Tours, trading name of Pahadi Bakra Adventure Expeditions Private Limited. By contacting us, submitting an inquiry, or booking a journey with us, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Services
Ghoomantu designs and operates private journeys across Heritage & Culture, Overland Expeditions, Wilderness Immersions, and related categories, primarily across Chhattisgarh, Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya, with other regions available on request. We also offer professional ground support to travel agencies and institutional partners.

3. Inquiries and Booking
All journeys begin as an inquiry submitted through our website, WhatsApp, or email. Pricing shown on our website is indicative, starting from the stated amount per person, and the final cost is calibrated based on group size, season, accommodation choice, and the specific route agreed with you. A journey is confirmed once an advance deposit is received. There is no minimum group size for any journey.

4. Payment
A deposit of 25% of the total trip cost is required to confirm a booking, with the balance due before departure. We accept payment by any common method. Prices are locked in at the time of booking and will not change afterward, regardless of currency movement or cost changes on our end.

5. Cancellations and Refunds
10% of the amount paid is non-refundable from the moment a booking is confirmed, regardless of when you cancel. Beyond that:
Cancellations made 45 days or more before departure: 90% refunded.
Cancellations made between 30 and 44 days before departure: 50% refunded.
Cancellations made 15 days or fewer before departure: no refund.
If you wish to change your travel dates rather than cancel, we will accommodate this at no extra charge where it creates no additional cost to us. Where a date change results in a cost to us, such as a non-refundable booking already made on your behalf, that cost will be passed on to you.
If Ghoomantu cancels a journey for any reason, including insufficient permits, weather, or safety conditions, you will receive a full refund.
We strongly recommend all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation.

6. Inclusions and Exclusions
Each journey page lists what is included in the quoted price and what is not. Insurance is marked as Recommended or Mandatory depending on the journey’s altitude and nature, and is the traveler’s own responsibility to arrange unless stated otherwise.

7. Traveler Responsibilities and Health
Travelers are responsible for holding valid identification and for disclosing any medical condition that may affect their ability to undertake the journey. All high-altitude journeys require a health and fitness declaration before booking. Ghoomantu’s field team may decline to proceed with an activity on safety grounds at their discretion.

8. Minors
Minors may travel with us only when accompanied by a parent on the journey. We do not accept bookings for unaccompanied minors.

9. Permits and Protected Areas
For foreign nationals, Ghoomantu arranges any required Protected Area Permits. Some journeys include entry to tribal areas, protected villages, or border-adjacent zones that require permits or local permissions. Access to these areas, and any specific activity within them such as photography, is never guaranteed and depends on permissions, local welcome, and conditions on the day. If access to a specific portion of a journey is refused on the day for reasons outside our control, Ghoomantu will make reasonable alternative arrangements, and no separate compensation is owed for that segment.

10. Traveler Conduct
Ghoomantu reserves the right to remove any traveler from a journey, without refund for the remaining portion, for conduct including but not limited to drug use, abuse toward staff or fellow travelers, or disrespect toward local communities or the natural environment.

11. Photography and Media Consent
Ghoomantu may use traveler photographs and testimonials from a journey in our marketing. Travelers are sent a consent form for this purpose and are asked to inform us in advance if they do not wish to be included.

12. Limitation of Liability
Ghoomantu is not liable for delays, losses, or changes to a journey caused by weather, road or border closures, permit refusals, natural disasters, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

13. Intellectual Property
All text, photographs, and itinerary content on this website belong to Ghoomantu unless otherwise credited, and may not be reproduced without permission.

14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
